Obituary of Sue Evelyn Robb Hancock

Sue Evelyn Robb Hancock, age 94 of Cottontown, formerly of Ridgetop, passed away August 23, 2015. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 26th at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 26th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Hancock was born October 22, 1920 in Ridgetop, TN. She was a 1938 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a 1940 graduate of State Teachers College in Murfreesboro. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Hartwell and Myra Robb; husband, Elbert Hancock and sister, Sally Greer. She is survived by her constant canine companion, Mikey; her sons and daughter-in-laws; Mark and Debbie Hancock of Cottontown and Neal and Gayle Hancock of Ridgetop; granddaughter, Shanon Hancock; grandson, Tracy Hancock and wife Ellie; great grandchildren, Keenan Manners, Amelia Bates and Will Pearce.
