Obituary of Jewel Frances Parker
Jewel F. Parker, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday September 23, 2015. Funeral Service will be Sunday September 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Brother Tony Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Garden, with Dave Parker, Miles Cline, Scotty Cline, Rodney Sanders, Ricky Apple, and Larry Hesson serving as pallbearers. Her great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday September 26th from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. and Sunday September 27th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Ms. Parker was born February 13, 1932 in Sumner County to the late Robert H. Stamps and Mai Dellow Whitefield Stamps. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her child, Fred Parker; second husband, Jesse D. Peay, Sr; son, Michael Fred Parker; grandson, Daniel Parker; and sister, Jean Beasley. She is survived by grandson, Michael Dave Parker (Greta) of Castalian Springs; daughter-in-law, Teresa Parker of Gallatin; sister, Sue Cline of Portland; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and 7 great-grandchildren, Samantha Parker, Keile Hale, Charlie Hale, Maggie Hale, Cannon Hale, Brooklyn Parker, and Mollie Jewel Parker.
