Obituary of June Elizabeth Tabor

Mrs. June Elizabeth Tabor, age 85 of Portland, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Tabor was born on June 10, 1938 in Scottsville, Kentucky to Willie Clay Renick and Pauline Sonora Duff.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Vernon Tabor, Jr. and daughter, Karen Tabor Horton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Vernon Tabor, Sr.; daughter, Sharon Tabor Cheek (Stephen); grandchildren, Michelle Tabor Pruitt (Rob), Susan Smith (James), Brad Tabor (Lori), Holly Webb (Alex), Cody Cheek (Morgan), Caine Cheek (Veronica); 16 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 12:00 PM at Smiths Grove Cemetery in Smiths Grove, Kentucky with Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 10th from 9:30-11:00 AM at Sellars Family Heritage in Portland.
