Obituary of Gerald Younkin

Gerald Younkin, age 65 of Castalian Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, March 28^th at 1:00 p.m. at Old Union Church of Christ, 2505 Hartsville Pike, Castalian Springs, TN  37031, with Bro. Tim Singleton and Bro. Steven Russell officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 28^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Younkin was born June 22, 1958 in Nashville to the late John Robert Younkin Sr. and Marjorie Jackson Younkin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Linda Brewer. He is survived by daughter, Heather Allen (Elijah) of Glasgow, Kentucky; brother, John Robert Younkin, Jr. (Vicki) of Castalian Springs; sisters, Sandra Singleton (Tim) of Monterey and Amy Bode of Hartsville: brother-in-law, Paris Brewer; grandson, Elijah Allen Jr. (Cassie); great-grandchildren Olivia Allen, Amelia Allen, Lincoln Allen, Kayson Allen, and Stella Allen; and several nieces and nephews. Gerald spent most of his working years in sales.  His career spanned across time spent at G & S Tractor, Dollar General, and Miracle Dodge.  Gerald loved spending time with his family and enjoyed spending his weekends at Parkland Flea Market, tending to Isaac’s Garden, along with attending coin and tractor shows.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyeritagefh.com.
