Obituary of Mary Frances East

Mrs. Mary Frances Steen East, age 92, of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services for Mary East are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 2 PM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Danny Patrick and Reverend Billy Pete Freeman, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in The Anderson and Son Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 3 PM until 9 PM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 8 AM until 9 PM, and on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 8 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Mary East was preceded in death by Husband, Eugene East; Second Husband, Bill Black; ; Daughters, Patricia Ann East and Katie Rhoads; Sons, Scott East and Barry East; Great-Granddaughter, Kenzley East; ; Son-in-law, Louie Hewitt; Parents, Prentice Roosevelt Steen and Vela Ethel Cothron Steen
