Obituary of Scott Allen Carter

Scott Allen Carter, age 55 of Hartsville, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 9^th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. Julius Hovan officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Chuck Carter, Mark Minor, Danny Peters, Robert Whited, Ken Minor, Larry Finley, Randall Gass, and Mark Keisling serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Carter was born September 4, 1968 in Gallatin.  He is preceded in death by mother, Sandra Sue Haynes; brother, Timothy Gordon Carter; and wife, Stephanie Meyer Carter.  He is survived by father, Maxie Lloyd Carter of Gallatin; daughters, Courtney Ray (William) of Hartsville and Caitlynn Gass (Randall) of Tomkinsville, KY; brothers, Charles Edward Carter of Cummings, GA and Robert Thomas Whited of Castalian Springs; and grandchildren, Emersynn Gass, Ethan Gass, and Harmony Wallace.  Mr. Carter worked at Lowes for 15 years.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
