Obituary of Betty Anderson

Betty “MawMaw” Anderson passed away on April 18, 2024 at age 81. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Steve Bode, is 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m. Graveside Services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Odom Memorial in Parrish AL.

               Betty Sue Coburn Anderson was born in Garrett KY to Nellie Smith Coburn and Oakley H. Coburn. She married Ezra Odell Anderson and together they built a life with their daughter Gracie in Sipsey AL. Betty took great pride in being a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed working puzzle books by the boxful and taking care of any kind of animal that wandered into her orbit.

               Betty is survived by her daughter Gracie Nell (Jimmie Jr.) Edwards; grandchildren: Elisabeth Wilson, Jordan Edwards, and Jimmie Edwards III; and brothers: Oakley (Louisa) Coburn and John (Janet) Coburn. She is preceded in death by her husband Ezra Anderson, parents Nellie and Oakley Coburn, twin brother Billy Paul Coburn, sister Linda Lou Logan, and infant twin brothers.
